Giving Direction

Sean Hollands has worked as a Director since 2014 across Theatre, Video Games, TV, and creative technologies. He places emphasis on the power of physical images, exploring both the naturalistic and absurd worlds through movement and performance. With a particular focus on creative collaboration, Sean has worked with classic texts, to new writing, musicals, and more. His bold style creates larger than life performances that doesn’t let go of the truth of emotional storytelling.

He is currently the Creative Associate at The Lost Estate, a Theatre Practitioner for the internationally renowned physical theatre company Frantic Assembly, and a Creative Associate of the National Youth Theatre.

Aside from his professional work, Sean has worked with drama schools, young person and elder groups, and refugee organisations. His inclusive practice seeks to empower performers and creatives to strive for detailed and explosive storytelling.
